Great Price Accutire MS-4350B for $12.95

Accutire MS-4350B Programmable Digital Tire Gauge Review

My old "talking" digital gauge stopped working after two years and I replaced it with Accutire MS-4350B, which looks and feels pretty solid compare to the old one. I have not had a chance to test its accuracy but otherwise it works well.

Pros:
1. Establishes a perfect seal 90% of times and almost perfect in the rest 10%
2. Auto-on, auto-off. No buttons to press, unless you need to access pre-set values or the light
3. Very ergonomic shape (see also a con for this), easy to hold against the valve

Cons:
1. Takes some time to produce a reading (1-2 seconds), while my old gauge was almost instant. The good thing, though, it beeps when the measurement is completed
2. The preset memory and the light are not of much use
3. Takes more storage space then most other digital gauges

Overall, I would buy it again

Most Accurate Guage I Have - William M. Adams -
I am a mechanic who is tired of getting different PSI readings from different pressure guages in the shop. I did research on PSI guages and found a controlled experiment to list the electronic digital guages as the most accurate. I purchased two of the ACCUTIRE MS-4350B guages and both of them read exactly the same over and over. The only Con would be it takes practice to get a good seal, but you will get the hang of it quickly. I would suggest this guage to anyone who is serious about their tire pressure and it would be a very nice gift for most people.

Worked, for a while - Cortezer - Aurora, CO
Well, what can I say. I spent + on this item a few months ago. Worked fine for a while, and was fairly accurate. Not too many problems getting a seal, but the gauge has to be VERY square on the valve stem. I didn't find the 'programmable' feature very useful. All it does is help one remember what the tire pressure is on one vehicle, that's all. What this gauge did when it stopped working - It failed to display one day. The light on the front worked, so I didn't suspect batteries right away. I forced it to display by pressing the set button continuously. I got some weird readings like it went into some sort of recalibration mode. It sure re-calibrated alright. The gauge now reads 48-50 psi (not consistent) when the tire actually has 34 psi in it. By the way, I did try new batteries in it just in case. No change.

I have tried to contact the manufacture (Measurement LTD) both by email and phone. No response back yet. I have read where others have been promised a replacement once the defective unit has been shipped back (at the buyer's expense). Then, only to find out no replacement is ever sent.

Looks like a disposable gauge to me. The 5 year guaranty is not worth much in my opinion.

One last note - I have always taken good care of this gauge. It hangs on a peg above the workbench, and has never been dropped or abused. I have had it for one year now (in case you at Measurement LTD are reading this)

Works fine, no adapters/"quick fixes" required - nick711 -
I felt compelled to write that this unit works, quickly, accurately, and does NOT require any additional equipment. The flashlight function is perfectly acceptable. The blue backlight makes it VERY easy to use at night. Have tested many times and found it to work with NO ADDITIONAL ADAPTERS OR "QUICK FIX" washers of any kind. Have test this on both my 07 Toyota Camry as well as my 08 BMW 650.
